Caregiver - CNA- Resident Assistant
About The Position
Windsor Manor Nevada is seeking compassionate, dependable PRN Caregivers (Resident Assistants) for casual, as-needed shifts in its Assisted Living and Memory Care community. There is no set schedule; caregivers pick up shifts according to their availability. Part-time shifts are available on first and second shifts, with various shifts identified as needed. The Resident Assistant provides resident care services as scheduled under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RSD) in Assisted Living areas, while helping maintain a positive physical and social environment. The role involves hands-on support with daily living activities, documenting care, communicating with the care team, and supporting safe, welcoming community operations. Windsor Manor Nevada describes itself as a small, close-knit senior living community where residents are treated like family and caregivers are valued. Allegro Living, LLC is the parent company of Allegro Management Company and Spring Arbor Management Company, formed through a 2025 merger.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of related health care experience.
- Must have a positive criminal background screening.
- Must adhere to the company Drug Free Workplace policy; associates are subject to the policy.
- Must successfully complete required dementia training in any community with an Ensemble Program.
- Must be dependable and available for various shifts as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Assisted Living experience preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification preferred or as required by the state.
- May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA), depending on state requirements; any license or certification held must be in good standing with the state agency.
- Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems is a plus.
- A genuine heart for caring for seniors.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, medicinal reminders, and incontinence care.
- Monitor resident well-being and communicate changes to the care team.
- Keep proper records of care, including resident service plans, and document services provided.
- Be familiar with resident service plans and document all services provided.
- Maintain daily communication with Resident Services associates to support continuity of care and services.
- Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
- Support neighborhood programming and operations.
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout each shift.
- Approach encounters with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
