About The Position

Carefree Living is hiring Resident Assistants/Caregivers at its Silver Bay, Minnesota assisted living facility. The role provides resident-centered care and customer service in a supportive, team-oriented community. Employees assist adults with activities of daily living and medication administration; medication-administration training is provided by an RN. The position offers full-time and part-time schedules, with morning, evening, and overnight shifts available. Starting wages have increased, and shift differentials are offered: $1.00 per hour for evening shifts and $1.50 per hour for overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• CNA certification is not required.
• Passion for providing excellent care and customer service.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Pass a basic written competency and skills test.
• Ability to use a computer; knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office is required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Selected candidate must undergo a DHS and criminal background study.
