About The Position

Live Star Home Care provides high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care to help clients live safely and comfortably in their homes. The Caregiver / Personal Care Aide provides non-medical support and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses. The role assists with daily living activities, promotes independence, and helps maintain a safe and caring home environment while treating each client with dignity, respect, and kindness.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality.
Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed for client support or transfers.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, CNA, or home care experience; training is provided for the right candidate.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care Training.
Medication Administration (QMAP).
CNA or HHA certification (optional).
Bilingual ability, including English/Spanish or other languages.
Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement.
Help with light housekeeping and laundry and maintain a clean living space.
Prepare and assist with meals and snacks according to clients’ dietary preferences.
Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and safe movement in their homes.
Provide non-medical medication reminders.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities as assigned.
Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional conditions to the supervisor.
Follow care plans, schedules, and agency policies to provide consistent and reliable service.
