Caregiver Personal Care Aide PCA
About The Position
As a Caregiver, you will help improve clients’ quality of life by providing comfort, dignity, and support. The role includes personal care, assistance with daily living activities, household tasks, companionship, and help with errands or transportation when applicable. Caregivers promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client. The position offers an hourly range of $15.25–$17.75 and daily pay options. A $250 sign-on bonus is available after completing 150 hours worked and 90 days of employment, subject to performance and employment requirements and paid following 90 days of active employment. Weekly hours and schedule may grow based on availability. Paid training and career advancement opportunities are also offered.
Requirements
- At least six months of experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals; professional or personal experience is accepted.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve clients’ quality of life.
- Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when applicable.
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
