About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting part-time Caregivers - PCA/HHA to serve clients in the Washington County areas. Caregivers provide one-on-one personal care, household support, and companionship to adults in their homes, helping them remain safe and independent. Services are provided in accordance with a written plan of care from a registered nurse. The role offers a pay rate of $26.00 per hour, mileage reimbursement of $0.55 per mile, and weekly pay. The position is for day shifts, with flexible schedules and efforts to match caregivers with nearby opportunities.

Requirements

At least one year of professional home health or patient care experience is required; exceptional applicants without experience may be considered and trained.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, household support, and companion care according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed-making support.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist clients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist clients with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
Provide compassionate, reliable, and high-quality care.
