About The Position
Macas Homecare is seeking an aide/caregiver to provide daily living and personal care services in a client's home in Saint Leonard, Calvert County, Maryland. The caregiver will follow the client's established care plan and provide minimal assistance, such as standby support, verbal cueing, or light hands-on assistance. The schedule is three days per week, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (four hours per day). The start date is ASAP.
Requirements
- Must know how to drive.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Able to provide minimal assistance, including standby support, verbal cueing, or light hands-on assistance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals.
- Assist with grooming and dressing.
- Provide transferring assistance.
- Give medication reminders.
- Do laundry.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Assist with doctor appointments.
- Help with grocery shopping.
- Provide transportation using the client's vehicle.
