About The Position
Macas Homecare is seeking an aide/caregiver to provide daily living and personal care services in a client’s home in Saint Leonard, Calvert County, Maryland. The caregiver will provide care and assistance in accordance with the client’s established care plan. This position requires minimal assistance, including standby support, verbal cueing, or light hands-on assistance. The schedule is three days per week, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (four hours per day). The stated start date is ASAP.
Requirements
- Must know how to drive.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals.
- Assist with grooming and dressing.
- Provide transferring assistance.
- Give medication reminders.
- Do laundry and light housekeeping.
- Assist with doctor appointments and grocery shopping.
- Provide transportation using the client’s vehicle.
