Caregiver or CNA
About The Position
HomeWell Care Services is hiring compassionate in-home Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide personalized one-on-one care to seniors. The role supports older adults in maintaining their independence and quality of life at home, with flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment. Caregivers help clients with daily living activities, companionship, and light homemaking. They also observe and document changes in clients’ health or status and report them to the office care team. The position is based in White Lake, Michigan, and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, reliable demeanor.
- A CNA certificate, HHA certificate, or at least one year of personal caregiving experience is preferred; 0–1 year is accepted for motivated candidates.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.
- CNA certificate, HHA certificate, or at least one year of personal caregiving experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide companionship through conversation, emotional support, and engaging social activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Observe and document changes in client health or status and report them to the office care team.
