About The Position
Always Best Care Senior Services is actively hiring compassionate Nurse Aides (NAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one care for seniors in their homes throughout Oahu. Unlike facility-based work, this role allows you to build meaningful relationships with clients while delivering personalized, in-home support that enhances their comfort, safety, and quality of life. Whether you're seeking part-time hours, full-time employment, or supplemental income, we offer flexible scheduling and a variety of shifts designed to fit your lifestyle. Starting pay is $21/hour, with opportunities for higher earnings through premium shifts, overnight care, weekend coverage, and specialized assignments.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii Nurse Aide (NA) registration or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Completion of a state-approved NA/CNA training program
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Reliable transportation to client homes
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver’s license preferred (not required for all assignments)
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Transportation to appointments and errands when needed
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure safety and well-being
