About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, the Caregiver provides hands-on support to residents while building meaningful relationships and helping improve their quality of life. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, following individualized service plans, supporting residents’ safety and independence, and helping create a welcoming environment. In Memory Care, the Caregiver helps create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Sunrise offers paid training and career growth opportunities. Compensation is listed at $17.20–$21.55. The company may also offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses, subject to the employee’s position, the plan or program offered at the time, and applicable performance requirements. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
