About The Position
Senior Helpers South Valley is seeking skilled and compassionate caregivers, CNAs, or HHAs with experience in complex or high-acuity care. This role focuses on providing dedicated support to a single client at a time, offering consistent scheduling and thoughtful case matching. The position is ideal for those with a background in hospice, skilled nursing, or home health who are looking for a professional environment that values their expertise and offers ongoing training and support.
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with complex or high-acuity clients (hospice, SNF, home health, or private duty)
- Current CNA/HHA certification (or equivalent state credential)
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, patient, and steady under pressure
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable to your cases)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in dementia care
- Experience with transfer/mobility techniques
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to a single client at a time.
- Utilize expertise in complex or high-acuity care, including dementia and behavioral support, post-stroke recovery, Parkinson's care, bariatric transfers, or post-surgical needs.
- Work closely with families, not just patients, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Adapt to client needs and maintain reliability, patience, and steadiness under pressure.
