About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality, one-on-one care to clients throughout the Emerald Coast. We value our caregivers and offer a supportive, flexible, and rewarding work environment. Caregivers who meet all required qualifications can start at $18/hour, and training guidance is available for those needing assistance with requirements.

Requirements

• A current CNA license or HHA certification
• Valid CPR certification with in-person instruction
• Required CNA/HHA coursework completed
• Eligibility for a Level 2 Background Check
• A compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered attitude
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to work independently while also being part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Companionship and conversation
• Medication reminders
• Walking and mobility assistance/ Transfers and positioning
• Respite care
• Running errands
• Other duties outlined in the client's care plan
