About The Position
Senior Helpers Greater Dallas, an Honor company, is seeking compassionate caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in someone's life. We are a home care company that values passion and rewards caregivers with competitive benefits. We have a variety of shifts available, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. We serve multiple areas in Dallas and surrounding cities, and we strive to match caregivers with clients closer to their homes to reduce drive time. We support our caregivers by helping qualified candidates start quickly, providing 24/7 on-the-job support, and offering current client information through our industry-leading app. Our most motivated and qualified applicants may begin working within just a few days.
Requirements
- At least one year of caregiving experience
- Comfortable working in homes with pets
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current automobile insurance
- Ability to treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Must successfully complete required criminal background and driving-record checks
Nice To Haves
- No certification is required to work as a caregiver or companion. CNAs are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Companionship and conversation
- Meal preparation and medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Transportation and errands
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care
- Mobility assistance and transfers
- Other companion-care and personal-care activities of daily living
Benefits
- $13.00–$14.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment
- Biweekly pay with direct deposit
- Holiday pay at 1.5 times your regular rate
