About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring experienced caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship to seniors and veterans in their homes in Cleveland, Texas, and surrounding areas. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent, with support tailored to each client’s individual needs. The company offers flexible scheduling and full-time, part-time, weekend, and overnight opportunities.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Be compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Be willing to travel throughout Cleveland and surrounding communities.
• Be a strong communicator with a positive, caring attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Promote client independence, dignity, and quality of life.
