About The Position

At Home Healthcare is hiring a Caregiver/CNA to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients who are unable to fully care for themselves. The role involves helping clients with daily activities, mobility, meals, shopping, and light housekeeping, while offering companionship and reporting unusual incidents to the office. No experience is required; the company provides the training necessary for certification at no cost. The position pays $16.00–$17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Have knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, housekeeping activities, cooking, and personal care services.
Be willing to adhere to health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and physically perform job-related duties.
Demonstrate the ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Be supportive, compassionate, and respectful of all persons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living they are not fully able to complete independently, including ambulation, dressing, personal care and hygiene, eating, and visiting friends.
Help clients move around the home or outside, including to doctor’s appointments and on walks.
Plan and prepare meals and, in some cases, assist clients with serving and eating meals.
Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while they shop.
Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot complete independently.
Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents to the office immediately.
