Caregiver / CNA – Hiring ASAP [Polish Speaking] [Spanish Speaking]
About The Position
The Caregiver / CNA provides in-home or facility care in or near Wheaton, Illinois. The agency is immediately hiring Polish- and Spanish-speaking caregivers and CNAs. Available schedules include 1–4, 6, 8, or 12-hour day shifts between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., as well as 12-hour overnight shifts between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. PRN options are available. Caregivers may provide companionship and activities, mobility and transfer assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, personal hygiene support, light housekeeping, and occasional transportation for errands or appointments. The position offers hourly pay of $19–$25, depending on schedule and availability, and includes paid orientation and training with RN oversight.
Requirements
- At least one year of caregiving experience or current CNA, HHA, PCA, or DSP status is preferred.
- Valid CPR certification.
- A work physical and negative TB test from within the past year.
- A valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
- Ability to reliably commute to the job location.
Nice To Haves
- Polish or Spanish language skills.
- Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, fall prevention, incontinence, or hospice care.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, conversation, and activities.
- Assist with mobility, standby support, repositioning, and transfers.
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
- Support clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide occasional transportation for errands or appointments.
