About The Position

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team. The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide multiple levels of support to clients, including elderly patients and people recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, household tasks, and support with daily living activities. Candidates should be willing to uphold health and safety standards and respond responsibly to emergencies. Requirements

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and physically perform job-related duties.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Availability to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
At least 1 year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
Take pride in providing high-quality care.
High school diploma or equivalent, experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
Hoyer lift experience specific to the client.

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance, including help with showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
Help clients move around the house or outside, including attending appointments and walks.
Plan and prepare meals.
Assist with physical therapy exercises.
Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while shopping.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Report unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Assist patients with meals, including serving and related tasks, and offer activities essential for daily living.
