About The Position

Valora of Orono, a new Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a compassionate Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide to join their growing team. This role involves providing direct care and support to residents in a 72-unit apartment-style community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services. The ideal candidate is passionate about enriching the lives of seniors and becoming part of a family that impacts residents' lives. The community is conveniently located in Orono, MN, near Wayzata and Long Lake.

Requirements

• Compassionate towards others.
• Passionate about enriching the lives of others.
• Experience in an assisted living community is preferred.
• Strong interest in healthcare.
• Positive, compassionate attitude.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to residents with their personal care services.
• Providing direct care to all genders of residents, recognizing individual needs, encouraging independence, and treating each resident with respect and dignity.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, mobility, and other personal care needs as described on the plan of care.
• Engaging residents in meaningful conversations and providing attentive care.
• Assisting with medication administration.
