Caregiver / CNA / HHA / PCA – Flexible Shifts | Urgently Hiring
About The Position
Caring Senior Service is urgently hiring experienced Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide one-on-one, non-medical home care for seniors. We are seeking compassionate and dependable individuals with at least one year of professional or personal caregiving experience. Flexible schedules are available, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and PRN shifts. At Caring Senior Service, we know that quality care begins with a strong, supported team. Requirements
- At least one year of caregiving experience is required
- Must have reliable transportation
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, or PCA certification is preferred but not required
- Prior caregiving experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, memory care, dementia care, hospice care, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, or private-duty caregiving is valuable for this position.
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Helping clients with walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers
- Providing toileting and incontinence care
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating
- Providing medication reminders
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry
- Assisting with errands, transportation, and appointments
- Monitoring and reporting changes in a client’s condition
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
- Protecting each client’s privacy, dignity, and independence
- Communicating professionally with clients, families, and office staff
- Documenting completed care and reporting concerns promptly
