About The Position

Right at Home Lino Lakes is hiring part-time Caregiver Aides to provide in-home support to seniors and adults with disabilities in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Caregivers help clients with personal care and activities of daily living, household tasks, meals, errands, medication reminders, prescribed exercises, dementia care, and companionship. The position pays $19–$21 per hour. PPE is provided, and paid training and development are available.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance.
• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduation or a G.E.D. certificate is preferred.
• Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with transferring and moving around their homes.
• Perform housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping, washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients on errands or to medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care.
• Offer companionship through activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
