The Career Services Advisor supports the daily operations, goals, and strategic direction of the Career Services Department. When the department does not have a Career Services Director or Manager, the position works under and reports to the School Director. The advisor helps graduates develop job-search skills and obtain employment aligned with their program objectives and field of study, working with the Education Department and administrative staff to provide placement services and evaluate graduate and employer satisfaction. The role supports recruitment and development of externship and placement sites, markets programs to the medical community, and provides students and graduates with job-search training and ongoing placement assistance. It also monitors students during externships, maintains placement records, conducts surveys, reports required data, and shares employment-market feedback to inform curriculum and program development. The position requires 20% to 40% travel, primarily in Texas, and adherence to CHCP’s core values of innovation, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.
