About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking a Career Services Advisor in Queens, NY, to help students and graduates launch careers in their chosen fields. The role connects education with employment through career coaching, job-search support, employer relationship-building, and the creation of job opportunities aligned with graduates’ skills and training. The advisor works directly with students and recent graduates while developing a network of local employers who are hiring. This is a relationship-driven position in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to contribute directly to graduate employment outcomes. The advisor also tracks placements and maintains accurate documentation in accordance with accreditation standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in recruiting, career services, sales, or a related field.
Strong communication skills, including comfort speaking to groups and on the phone.
Ability to build relationships and connect with people.
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology platforms.
Goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting performance targets.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one career coaching and job-search assistance to students and graduates.
Deliver workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and professional development.
Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
Develop a pipeline of qualified job opportunities aligned with graduate skills and training.
Coordinate job fairs, employer visits, and on-campus recruiting events.
Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain contact until successful placement.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with accreditation standards.
