About The Position
Calyx Living is hiring Care Staff for its new assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex. Care Staff assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs. Duties include monitoring residents’ self-administration of medication, ensuring resident hygiene, obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining resident safety, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services, and observing residents for changes in condition. The role requires weekend availability.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older and demonstrate maturity.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
- Reliable, responsive, and attentive.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiver experience is strongly preferred.
