About The Position
Calyx Living is seeking energetic 2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff for its assisted living community in North Durham. Care Staff assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs, including monitoring self-administration of medication, supporting resident hygiene, obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining resident safety, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services, and observing residents for changes in condition. The role requires a safety-first attitude toward residents and staff.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Strong sense of maturity.
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
- Trustworthy and attentive.
- Must have a safety-first attitude toward residents and staff.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiver experience is strongly preferred.
