About The Position

Calyx Living is seeking energetic Care Staff for 2nd/3rd shifts at its assisted living community in North Durham. Care Staff assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs, help monitor self-administration of medication, support resident hygiene, obtain and record vital signs, maintain resident safety, complete incident reports, assist with meal services, and observe residents for changes in condition. The role requires a safety-first attitude toward residents and staff.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Strong sense of maturity.
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
• Trustworthy and attentive.
• Must have a safety-first attitude toward residents and staff.

• Caregiver experience is strongly preferred.
