About The Position

Care.com is seeking empathetic, solutions-oriented After Hours Care Specialists to support members by phone, email, and chat. The role helps families navigate care solutions and corporate benefits, and connects members with urgent crisis resources during evenings and weekends. The position is remote in the Dallas, Texas area. The weekly Central Time schedule is: Monday and Tuesday off; Wednesday 7:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m. (into Thursday morning); Thursday 7:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.; Friday 12:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; and Sunday 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Compensation is $19.23–$24.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on factors including work location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. Requirements

2–4+ years of experience in customer or client service; experience in a human services field such as social work or public health is preferred.
High emotional intelligence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multitasking skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be reliable, adapt to change, and remain open to continuous coaching.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Customer or client service experience in a human services field such as social work or public health.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound member calls, emails, and chats with empathy and professionalism.
Guide members to mental health resources, including Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
Provide critical resources for urgent shelter, food, or crisis situations.
Verify member eligibility and accurately document interactions in the CRM system.
Meet or exceed daily and weekly performance KPIs, including service level agreements and customer satisfaction scores.
