About The Position

Meadowlark Retirement Village is hiring a full-time Care Partner in its Assisted Living department in Sparta, Michigan. The role is scheduled for 32 hours per week, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Care Partners support residents with daily living activities, meaningful activities, meals, and a safe, welcoming home environment. A weekend shift premium of $0.50 applies from Friday at 11 p.m. through Sunday at 10:59 p.m. The listed compensation is $17.17–$19.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry at least 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Plan, lead, support, and participate in meaningful activities.
• Assist residents with moving, positioning, and transportation.
• Assist with applying prosthetic and supportive devices.
• Prepare and serve breakfast and provide snacks.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Properly and safely store medications received from the pharmacy.
• Keep areas of the home clean and perform routine housekeeping duties.
• Make beds and change bed linens.
• Launder clothing, linens, and other articles.
• Clean up after lunch and dinner meals.
