About The Position

The Care Partner assists with patient care and maintaining unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role supports day-to-day care delivery, safe and efficient patient flow, communication and education for patients and families, and unit operations through maintaining supplies, equipment, and the care environment. Additional duties may be assigned. The position calls for novice-level clinical competencies, including practical interventions such as point-of-care testing and vital signs, and independent use of clinical applications for patient documentation. The Care Partner sets up and maintains patient rooms, supplies, and equipment, organizes assigned work, anticipates basic resource needs, and adapts to changing assignments. The role also emphasizes collaboration, compassionate service, safety, accountability, effective communication, and support for colleagues.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
Demonstrate novice-level competence in clinical interventions such as point-of-care testing and vital signs.
Independently use clinical applications for patient documentation.
Set up and maintain patient rooms, supplies, and equipment.
Organize assigned work, anticipate basic resource needs, and adapt to changes in assignments.
