Care Partner 6pm-6am $19-24 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Kentridge. This full-time position involves providing direct care and creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, computer skills for documentation, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and with recovery after a fall. We are committed to promoting from within and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
