Care Partner 6am-6pm $19-24 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Vitalia Stow. This full-time position involves providing direct care and creating meaningful connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. You will also be responsible for assisting residents with mobility and in the event of a fall. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment and promoting from within.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
- Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their vulnerable moments.
- Be present and share talents to foster a positive work environment.
- Invest with whole heart in work, team members, and community.
- Be curious, ask questions, and engage in personal development, growth, and training.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
