About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to join our team at The Rushwood Senior Living in Wichita, Kansas. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule and a starting wage of $19-$21 per hour. As a Care Partner, you will be an "Advocate of Empathy," creating human connection with residents during their vulnerable moments. A key part of this role is being "Proactive" in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.

Requirements

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing within the state of employment.
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
