We are looking for someone to be an "Advocate of Empathy," responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments. This role involves being a "Patient Observer" to discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique, then collaborating to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience. You will also be a "Master of the Mise en Scène," responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments such as dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms. As a "Life Partner," you will collaborate with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping. Additionally, you will be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition, and assisting with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
