About The Position

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in a supportive team environment. The role assists residents with activities of daily living and helps ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence, privacy, and dignity. Care Partners also support resident engagement and communication among residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current caregiver training or certification as required by the state, such as CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA, or willingness and ability to obtain it.
Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain them.
At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with memory care is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, while following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
Provide compassionate care, engagement, companionship, and emotional support while prioritizing residents’ independence.
Encourage and assist residents to participate in life enrichment activity programs.
Perform light housekeeping, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
