About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to join our team at University Senior Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This role is crucial in creating human connection with residents during their vulnerable moments, embodying empathy, generosity, and a proactive approach to assisting with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, have a positive and energetic attitude, possess basic computer skills, and are physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and frequently lifting/moving items up to 50 pounds. The role also requires the ability to assist residents with mobility and ensure they are criminally cleared.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
  • Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Criminally cleared.
