About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Care Partner at University Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The position is scheduled Mondays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and pays $18 to $21 per hour. The Care Partner supports residents with activities of daily living and helps create a caring, inclusive, and positive environment. The role emphasizes empathy, dependability, presence, curiosity, and engagement in ongoing development and training.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive, energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Create human connections with residents, including during vulnerable moments.
Contribute to an inclusive and positive environment through engagement with residents, team members, and the community.
Be present, share talents, and be someone colleagues and residents can count on.
Ask questions and participate in personal development, growth, and organizational training.
Print documents and enter information about residents.
