About The Position

The Care Manager (CNA) provides resident care according to each resident’s care plan, supporting daily living needs such as personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. This is a non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Health & Wellness Director. Part-time shifts are available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; per-diem shifts are available on all shifts. The stated salary range is $21.00–$22.00 per hour, with another listing of $21.00 per hour. The role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and use of fine and gross motor skills, as well as talking, hearing, and smelling. The associate may need to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and intermittently lift and support residents using proper body mechanics.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aid certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and intermittently lifting and supporting residents.
Use proper body mechanics when performing physical tasks.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
Dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in care plans.
Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
Escort residents to meals and activities.
Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
