About The Position

The Care Manager (CNA) provides resident care in a senior living community, supporting residents with daily activities as specified in their care plans. Duties include personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The position reports to the Health & Wellness Director and is non-exempt and hourly. Part-time shifts are 7 a.m.–3 p.m. or 3 p.m.–11 p.m.; per-diem employees may work any shift. The listed compensation is $21–$22 per hour.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, using fine and gross motor skills, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling.
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and to lift and support residents using proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
Dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in residents’ care plans.
Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
Escort residents to meals and activities.
Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
Document services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
Assist residents with daily life needs, including food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.
