Care Manager Per-Diem

About The Position

The Caregiver is a non-exempt, hourly, per-diem position available across all shifts. The role assists residents with all aspects of daily life as indicated in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The position reports to the Health & Wellness Director and pays $23.50 per hour.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification.
High school diploma.
Ability to perform duties involving standing, walking, sitting, fine and gross motor skills, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling.
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds; intermittent lifting and supporting of residents is required.
Must use proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
Dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in care plans.
Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
Escort residents to meals and activities.
Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
