About The Position

The Care Manager is a non-exempt, hourly, per-diem role at Monarch Communities Senior Living. The position assists residents with aspects of daily life according to their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The role is available across all shifts and reports to the Health & Wellness Director. Compensation is up to $23.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Ability to perform the physical activities described, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and lifting and supporting residents using proper body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Immediately report changes in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
