About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers of Brownsburg is seeking a caregiver to assist clients with daily activities in a safe manner. The role includes personal care, household tasks, meal support, transportation, shopping, safety, and companionship. Caregivers use the Care+ App to track their work schedule, view caregiving responsibilities, support communication with families, and access other features. The position requires working with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional relationship with clients. Caregivers are expected to maintain and develop their skills and follow agency policies. The company offers flexible hours, paid mileage, training, and opportunities to advance to team leadership positions.

Requirements

Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility.
Ability to function with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional relationship with the client.
Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
Dependable and professional.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities safely.
Provide light housekeeping.
Plan menus, prepare meals, and set up meals.
Do laundry and change linens.
Provide transportation and assist with shopping.
Assist with bathing and dressing.
Support client safety and provide companionship.
Use the Care+ App to track work schedules, review caregiving responsibilities, and assist with family communication.
Maintain skills and continue learning.
Adhere to agency policies.
