About The Position

TerraBella Senior Living is hiring Care Givers to provide hands-on care and physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe, comfortable, home-like environment. The role supports residents’ independence, dignity, and physical safety, and includes assisting with activities of daily living and life-enrichment activities. The position is part of a senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, and respite services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting their dignity and physical safety.
• Participate in and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating, as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and other life-enrichment activities.
