This role is for individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology looking to gain experience in mental health settings. The Care Coordinator will help clients focus on health and wellness treatment goals, work with a vulnerable client population, and develop case management and counseling skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in traditional case management, supportive counseling, and facilitating treatment groups, and enjoys building relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field OR one-year experience in the behavioral health field for non-related Bachelor's degrees
  • Experience working with clients in an outpatient setting
  • Interest in working with adults, children, and families with mental illness and substance use issues
  • Experience with clinical modalities: Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), other Cognitive Behavior Therapies (CBT)
  • Collaborative and client centered orientation
  • Collaborative team member who is ready to jump in, support our clients and team
  • Familiarity with insurance programs like Medicare and Medicaid
  • Detail-oriented
