About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a Care Coordinator and Scheduler to coordinate schedules, match nurses with clients, and make adjustments when unexpected changes occur. The role involves keeping care connected and ensuring families receive the care they depend on. The coordinator communicates with nurses, caregivers, clients, and families, manages scheduling systems, solves scheduling problems, and supports the team as needed. The position is located in Columbia, Missouri, and pays $18–$20 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, organization, and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in customer service, call centers, scheduling, staffing, or office coordination is preferred.
- Healthcare experience is a bonus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Match nurses with clients and build dependable schedules.
- Manage and update scheduling systems.
- Communicate with nurses, caregivers, clients, and families.
- Solve scheduling problems and handle last-minute changes.
- Support the team and step in when needed.
