Requirements

  • Previous experience in front-office or other patient-facing healthcare roles is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills with patients and coworkers
  • Comfort discussing insurance, treatment, and financial matters
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to take ownership and initiative
  • Dependable, professional, and confident in a patient-facing environment
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Quick learner, adaptable to new systems and processes
  • Understanding that excellent patient care includes both clinical and surrounding administrative aspects

Nice To Haves

  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional first impression
  • Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
  • Managing patient records and maintaining accurate information
  • Handling phone calls and patient questions with confidence and professionalism
  • Coordinating closely with the clinical team to keep patient care moving smoothly
  • Verifying dental insurance benefits and helping patients understand their coverage
  • Discussing treatment-related financial information and assisting with collections
  • Helping patients understand their options and navigate the administrative side of their care
  • Supporting a positive patient experience from scheduling through completion of care
