About The Position

Call-In Homecare is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to support people in their homes across Penicuik, Loanhead, and surrounding areas. The role helps clients remain independent and involves assisting with daily activities, personal care, and the planning and provision of care. Full paid training, an induction programme, guaranteed hours, and ongoing team support are provided. The position is permanent, with full-time, part-time, morning, evening, and bank-shift patterns available.

Requirements

Kind, caring, and compassionate approach.
Good level of English.
Ability to commit to one of the contracted shift patterns.

Nice To Haves

Full UK driving licence, own car, and business insurance are preferred; walking runs are available.
Care experience is welcome but not required; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities, including meal preparation, medication prompts, and general domestic support.
Assist clients with personal care.
Support clients to take an active role in planning and receiving their care.
Accurately record and report information from daily visits.
