About The Position

ECL is hiring a community-based Care Assistant in Wickford to support customers with reablement, helping them regain independence and continue living in their own homes. Support may include helping customers relearn skills related to personal care, mobility and meal preparation. The role requires travel around Wickford and the surrounding area, and applicants must have a full driving licence, access to their own vehicle and business insurance. No previous care experience is required. ECL provides induction training, ongoing training and shadowing, then assigns a mentor to work alongside new employees with customers until they feel confident. The role offers guaranteed contracted hours and opportunities to progress, including paid specialist training and nationally recognised qualifications. Shifts run from 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm, and available contracts are 16–30 hours, with every other weekend worked.

Requirements

Full driving licence.
Access to an own vehicle.

Work every other weekend under the available contracts.

Weekday pay of £13.71 per hour and weekend pay of £15.71 per hour.
