Care Assistant (Weekends)
About The Position
We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults across Folkestone and Hythe. You will be required to work Weekends - Mornings : 07:00-14:00 and/or Evenings: 16:00-22:00 with Guaranteed Hours Contracts available for extra security. If you have a caring heart and a friendly smile, you can make someone’s day — from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. At Home Instead, we focus on quality care, offering both companionship and personal support so clients can live safely, comfortably and with dignity! Our visits are at least an hour long, so you can focus on what matters — helping someone feel safe, comfortable and valued.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Full Driving Licence & access to a Car
- Clear English and good communication skills
Nice To Haves
- No previous care experience? No problem — we’ll train, support and cheer you on from day one.
Responsibilities
- Personal care and mobility
- Making a meal or a comforting cuppa
- Keeping their home tidy and safe
- Sharing stories, laughter and companionship
- Supporting with some health tasks — e.g. catheter care, stoma care, nail care (training provided)
