About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling open heart procedures and working in a general operating room (OR) environment. This position requires adaptability, as the technician will assist with various surgical specialties when not engaged in cardiovascular surgeries. Unit Information Unit Type: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Number of Suites: 11 Average Number of Cases Per Day: 18
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Experience with common surgical cases, including CABG, vascular surgeries, and lung procedures
- Ability to work in various OR specialties such as Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, and Urology when not in CVOR
- Valid driver's license

- All team members must comply with the organization's fingernail policy, which prohibits artificial nails in patient care areas.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular procedures as part of the surgical team
- Support general, orthopedic, urological, and ENT surgeries as needed
- Adhere to all departmental policies, including nail regulations
