About The Position

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician, described in the posting as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist. The role supports physicians and colleagues during cardiac and vascular procedures, using advanced catheterization laboratory technology to deliver safe, high-quality care. The technician guides and supports patients and families throughout their procedure experience and helps ensure precise treatment in a sterile, safe environment.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED.
One year of experience required.
RCIS, ARRT, or Paramedic certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) must be obtained within two years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures through care, education, and reassurance.
Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
Monitor patient responses attentively and compassionately.
Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for patients.
