About The Position

The Cardiovascular Surgical Scheduling Coordinator supports two cardiovascular surgeons and connects patients, providers, clinical teams, and administrative scheduling. The role manages complex surgical schedules across multiple locations, coordinates surgical cases and appointments, and helps guide patients through their care journey. The coordinator works with a collaborative cardiovascular service line that includes eight surgeons, five advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and clinical support staff. The position is full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a potential hybrid opportunity after one year. The role offers no weekend or holiday work. Candidates should have prior medical scheduling experience, attention to detail, and experience obtaining or coordinating prior authorizations. Success requires the ability to navigate multiple provider schedules, communicate effectively with patients and care teams, and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

Two years of administrative patient service experience.
Proficient computer skills.
Prior medical scheduling experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience obtaining or coordinating prior authorizations.
Ability to navigate multiple provider schedules.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
